Kendrah McKay

[ Actress ]

Kendrah McKay is originally from Detroit, Michigan. When not causing mischief with her friends or making magic, you can find Kendrah bellydancing or performing burlesque.

At any given moment of the day, she will most likely be shaking what her mama gave her or trying to make people laugh with silly antics and mild debauchery. Kendrah likes to color outside of the lines and encourages you to try it sometime.

Amber Nimedez

[ Actress/Co-producer ]

Originally from the Bay Area, Amber Nimedez now lives in Los Angeles, CA. She is a model, TV host and second year Ms. Fitness competitor who holds the title of Ms. Fitness Hawaiian Islands 2008. Amber studied Theatre and Dance at the University of California, Irvine (2002).

Aside from acting and modeling, Amber is an Accredited Exercise Therapist certified by The Egoscue University who specializes in posture alignment and functional training. She continues to educate and train clients but still finds time to produce and act. In here spare time, she practices yoga, dance, gymnastics and loves spending time with friends and family. FOURPLAY & THE RANDOM COLLECTIVE Productions is very special for Amber. Being on set with her best friends has been the time of her life and hopes to continue entertaining and inspiring others to do the same.

Erica Rhodes

[ Actress ]

Erica Rhodes is a full time actress in LA. She stars in the webseries, "Upstairs Girls", which has over 7 million views on YouTube. She also stars on her own channel, "Sandyschannel". She had a starring role in the internationally released horror film, "Plague Town". And she has appeared regularly on the radio show, "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keillor, since the age of ten.

During her moments of free time, she enjoys playing her cello and having tea at Urth with the loves of her life: Amber, Myrah, and Kendrah...and the recent addition, Jess!

My-rah Penaloza

[ Actress/Stylist ]

Myrah is a certified yoga teacher and a professional stylist. She lives in Venice and you will often see her riding her bike all over town. She is socialite in her community and is "always in the know" of what's in. And if you ever get a chance to hang out with her be ready to say "Hi" to strangers because be sure she will be running into 2 or 3 people she knows. Erica says "it's like going to church with your mother and your waiting in the car because she has to say hi to everyone!" Born in the OC and raised in the Inland Empire, this girl has character. She studied at California State University of Fullerton. Soccer athlete and Kinesiology major.

This her first acting gig, though she never intended to be an actress but when you are best friends with three inspiring women any thing is possible especially when you are threaten to be replaced ;)

Hillary Rhodes

[ Writer ]

Hillary is a seasoned writer and journalist currently living in Providence, R.I. She has worked as a reporter and editor at the Associated Press in New York City and the Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa. She has produced broadcast content for Garrison Keillor's NPR shows "A Prairie Home Companion" and "The Writer's Almanac," and has a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Richie Yau

[ Director/Producer/Colorist ]

Richie Yau has been a filmmaker and a student of films for almost 20 years. It all started in the late 80Õs when his dad got their first camcorder and since then he has gone off to study films and filmmaking, earning two degrees.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from UC Santa Barbara (1999) and recently received his Masters of Fine Arts in Film Production at Chapman University (2009).

Nick Corporon

[ First Assistant Director/Editor ]

Nick Corporon forsakes normal blood blood pressure and any form of sleep to be with the wonderful FOURPLAY cast and crew. Hailing from the boring state of Missouri, Nick directs in his time away from the girls. His shorts "Last Call" and "Lonely Man" have played in fests all over the world.

He has two ultimate goals in his life: 1) pretend to make "character" films to be ideally placed to direct superhero movies. 2) Marry actor John Cho.

Brian Patrick Carroll

[ Gaffer ]

Brian Patrick Carroll was raised in Americas Finest City, San Diego. Brian Fell in love with the theatre and the movies at a young age when he first saw the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast on the big screen. Wanting a different view of California, Brian decided to attend Humboldt State University where he earned a BA in Theatre Arts.

He left the great high north to find himself in the middle of the drama ridden OC where he attended Chapman University. Spending a quick three years there Brian left Orange county after earning an MFA in film production. Now living in LA, he finds himself working in wide variety of roles in the film industry, and loving every new production.

Dani Sanchez-Lopez

[ Cinematographer/Colorist ]

Dani Sanchez-Lopez graduated with honors at the University of Sevilla, Spain, where he is from. He received fellowships to study in England, research for his PhD at Cornell University, and to continue studying film at Chapman University, where he photographed several films: Whore, Go Live Your Life (nominated for best film at BAFTA LA), Turn Around (Leo Freedman Award), MaggieÕs Heart, Tijuaneros (LA Latino Film Festival, Best Short at CineSinFin and Mesquite Award at San Antonio FF), and HEAL. He actually received the Cecil B. De Mille award and was nominated for ASC Heritage Award for his cinematography in HEAL.

Dani is also a recognized new media artist. His exhibition, Projections, led him to be included in the Alternative Artists in Andalusia, with a book scheduled to be released in February 2010. Alice, Outside, his latest videoart is included in the ensemble exhibition ENCUENTROS, an anthology of contemporary art.

He currently works in the Sundance Institute and as a director of photography on several projects, including FOURPLAY.

Fevzi Balli

[ Editor/Sound Mixer ]

Originally from Turkey, Fevzi Balli moved to the United States to study at the UW-Milwaukee and the UW-Madison where he started studying film. After making several experimental and narrative short films in Wisconsin, he came to California, to Chapman University, focused his directing craft on narrative storytelling, and successfully managed to helm several short films - ranging from drama to dark comedy. Now he plans to put his directing efforts toward feature films at the studio and independent levels.

Ty Sanga

[ On Set Dresser/Art Director/Boom Operator ]

Ty Sanga was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i. His pursuit in film first started in college where he took an Ethnic Studies class. There, he was introduced to the power of film after watching documentaries of "Asian American" struggles. It gave a voice to those that are normally voiceless. Since then he has been developing the skills necessary to produce quality films out of Hawai'i.

He graduated from the Univeristy of Hawai'i and recently completed a MFA in Directing at Chapman University. His has won the "Golden Honu: Best Hawaiian Short" two years in a row with films "Plastic Leis" and "Follow the Leader" at the BIG ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL (listed as MovieMaker magazineÕs "25 Coolest Film Festival"). His first short film "Passive Voice" won the expert category at the Olelo: Youth Exchange

Yoanna Wijaya

[ Production Designer ]

Yoanna Wijaya always knew she has a knack to create and design. She pursued art relentlessly and found a niche in the world of designing spaces. She completed her undergraduate degree in Interior Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.

Then discovered a whole new world of Production Design. The fast pacing set and the challenge to create an environment out of the imaginations - that enables a movie to be believable, made her fell in love to the field. She decided to pursue her newfound passion in a graduate degree in Production Design at Chapman University, Los Angeles. She is now living Los Angeles making her mark in the world of make believe. LA love.

Yukako Shimada

[ Editor ]

Born and raised in Kobe, Japan, Yukako Shimada got into Nihon University in Tokyo as a director, which is the most famous and reputed film school in Japan. She focused on communicating with actors and crew. She made 2 documentaries and 2 fiction films with 16mm and old style editing system with a viewer and Steinbeck and got fascinated by the editing. After graduation, she worked for a web production company as an editor for a year.

Currently Yukako completed MFA Program at Chapman, and she is working at JATV as an assistant editor. She also still participates in many projects such as shorts and web episodes as an editor, and sometimes works as an interpreter and subtitle translator for film festivals.
